Hale Class of '75 - 40-Year Class
Reunion
Rock n’ Roll Never Forgets!
Our 40-Year Reunion was held on Saturday, June
13th, 2015. The day began with a golf outing
at Whitehawk Park in Bixby, which was a 4 person
scramble event with prizes.
Next we had the traditional Tour of Nathan Hale,
which started with a lunch at Coney I-lander at noon
before moving on to Hale high school to re-live old
memories and see how much the school had changed.
It is a magnet school now with special emphasis on
technical trades.
The evening event was held in downtown Tulsa at
The Broadway. Our theme this year was "Rock n
Roll Never Forgets", so we did away with the
traditional blue balloons in favor of inflatable
guitars hanging from the ceiling. It was a
nice touch, especially with tunes from our high
school days playing in the background.
We didn't serve a dinner this time, opting for a
more casual hor d'oeuvres bar. There was a
dance floor with laser lights and many people danced
until well into the evening. Turn out was
great this year, with over 120 in attendance!
